Two different numbers
Club Funds and Team Cap
Club Funds are your club’s spendable coins. The gold coin balance pays for things like facilities, staff, and free agent signing fees.
Salaries use a separate cap
Team Cap tracks player salaries against your salary limit. Earning Club Funds does not create cap space. A free agent can need both a signing fee and enough cap space.
Player extensions currently cost no Club Funds. They still have to pass the salary cap check.
The current match screens call Club Goals Club Challenges. Each one pays 1 fund. The Win the game challenge pays alongside the separate win reward.
01
Start with completion and the result
Match Revenue pays 1 for a completed match. Result Bonus adds 1 for a win. A loss in overtime or a shootout has no separate funds bonus. An unfinished match pays nothing.
02
Add every completed challenge
The current three are Score a goal, Win the game, and Win by two. Completing all three pays 3 challenge funds. Older saved matchups can have different challenges, so check the offered list.
03
Check home support before the game
A home win adds 1 when pregame fan support is 80% or higher. This Home Win Fan Bonus stacks with the challenge rewards. Away matches and home losses do not earn it.
04
Other bonuses share one fund
If any challenge pays, Team Performance and Rivalry / Upset pay 0. If none pays, qualifying performance gets the shared 1 fund first. Otherwise, a rivalry or upset can take it. Those two sources never add together.
Performance compares the score with an expected margin based on both teams’ ratings. It is not a reward for shots or time on the ice.
6
The current match maximum
1 for completion + 1 for winning + 3 challenges + 1 home bonus. Without that home bonus, all three challenges and a win pay 5. Team Store earnings are separate from this receipt.
The Fan Shop
How the Team Store earns funds
The Fan Shop appears as Team Store in the current UI. It opens after your first regular-season match following the opening story. The scripted opening match does not unlock it.
Development capture of a sample Vancouver Walruses club. The tier 1 register has 1 whole fund ready to collect. View full size in a new tab.
1 fund every 4 hours
The current store earns funds over elapsed time, including time offline. It stops earning when its register is full.
Collect whole funds from the Team Store home card or by tapping the store’s register. Both use the same account. Any part of a fund stays in the register.
Watching customers does not increase earnings. Their shopping is cosmetic. Playing more matches does not trigger a store milestone payout in this build.
Upgrades buy more storage
Every tier earns at the same rate. An upgrade makes room for more funds between collections. It does not make the clock run faster.
For example, an empty tier 1 store holds 1.5 funds after 6 hours. You can collect 1 and leave the other 0.5. After 8 hours it reaches its 2-fund limit. Waiting longer cannot build a hidden backlog.

What Club Funds buy
These are in-game costs in the current build. Check the offer before spending, especially when signing a player.
Facilities
6 / 10 / 16 / 24 / 36
The five upgrade steps for the stadium, training, and medical facilities. Each price is for the next step, not the total to reach it.
Two-season signing fees range from 3–5 for depth players to 35–45 for franchise players. Rotation players cost 7–9, starters 10–15, and stars 20–30. You also need cap space.
Keep the next upgrade in reach. After the opening rink purchase, you have 4 funds left. Save 2 more for a first training or medical upgrade at 6. The next stadium upgrade costs 10, so that needs 6 more.
Leave room for a renewal. A 3-star staff renewal costs 4. If you have 8 funds and need that renewal soon, spending 6 on a facility leaves you 2 short.
Buy store space when you use it. The first store upgrade gives you room for one more fund between collections. If your register rarely fills, saving those 3 funds for another purchase may help more.
Beyond match rewards
Grants and season rewards
The opening renovation grant brings your starting wallet to 10. The required Club Rink upgrade costs 6, leaving 4. That grant covers the first full season’s allocation, so finishing the opening draft does not give you another one.
Later seasons award an 8-fund league allocation. Winning the Pixel Cup awards 10, separate from the match receipt.
Finishing the schedule, meeting the owner’s goal, reaching the playoffs, and advancing through earlier playoff rounds currently give no separate Club Funds grant. Completed playoff matches still earn their usual match rewards.
PixelPuck is in development for iPhone. There is no public App Store release date yet. You can email the developer about future testing opportunities. Android is planned, with no release date announced.
